Fox Asia to Broadcast DRL Races Soon

Come September 7 this year, viewers in various Asian countries will be able to watch Drone Racing League races on Fox Asia thanks to a recent deal that allows the channel to broadcast DRL events. The countries include  Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia, Thailand, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, The Philippines and Malaysia. Viewers in these countries will be able to tune in via Channel FM31.

According to DRL CEO and Founder Nicholas Horbaczewski as reported by PR Newswire,

As the sport of drone racing continues to grow internationally, we are looking forward to working with our new partner, FOX Sports Asia, to introduce drone racing to millions of new fans in Asia.

DRL’s broadcasting deal with Fox Asia is the league’s first expansion into Asia since it was launched in January last year. DRL’s existing broadcasting partners include ESPN, Sky Sports, ProSiebenSat.1, Disney XD and OSN. With this new partnership, DRL events will soon reach viewers in more than 87 countries around the world. This year’s DRL season has 16 professional racing pilots competing at speeds of over 90mph in three different countries. Race venues include NFL stadiums, abandoned buildings and even a royal palace.
