FrSky Taranis X9D Plus and Anet 3D Printers Getting Crazy Discounts at GearBest

The ongoing GearBest 3rd Anniversary celebration sales is yielding some pretty interesting deals. The latest gem to have surfaced is the highly popular Taranis X9D Plus which is currently available for just $199.99 shipped. Now that’s an unbeatable price you can’t find anywhere else!

Just key in the coupon code “GB3RDX9D” to qualify for the discount when checking out. The coupon code will be valid for only 17 days. Currently, there are only 49 units left and at such an irresistible price, I expect them to be sold out within the next 17 days.

The Taranis X9D Plus is the most popular radio controller for serious RC enthusiasts at the moment so if you don’t own one and fancy taking your hobby to the next level, you’d better be quick before they’re all snapped up.

Next up are the Anet A6 and A8 DIY 3D printers. Both models offer great value if you’re looking for DIY 3D printers that don’t cost a bomb yet are capable of printing with the same resolution and accuracy of more expensive branded printers. This combination of affordability and decent performance has made both 3D printers highly popular models and large online user communities have grown around them. This is especially true for the A8 (pictured below) which was released a few months before the A6.

User-designed replacement parts for both printers are widely available at Thingiverse and new users will find the large support community very helpful when it comes to troubleshooting or tinkering with these printers. The list below shows the discounted prices for both the A6 and A8 along with their coupon codes:

  • Anet A8 ($159.99) / Coupon code (AnetA8Blog)
  • Anet A6 ($189.99) / Coupon code (AnetA6Blog)

The A6 (pictured below), being the newer and slightly improved model, costs more. Interestingly, the coupon code for the A6 doesn’t actually work although the price on the A6 page itself shows $189.99 which is supposed to be the discounted price.

The A6 typically sells for well over $220 (without shipping costs) at other sites. This makes the GearBest deal incredibly attractive for those who are shopping for an affordable DIY 3D printer. The discounts for both printers will be valid for the next 6 days and so far more A6 units have been sold compared  to the A8 despite the A6 costing more.
