Bolt Drones DJI Mavic Pro Giveaway

To celebrate the upcoming launch of their Kickstarter campaign in November, Bolt Drones are giving away a brand new DJI Mavic Pro + Fly More Combo set to one lucky winner. Yes, you read that right. That’s DJI’s latest drone with extra goodies worth $1299.

The Bolt Drone is a new ready-to-fly FPV racer with a truly radical price point. How radical? $150, to be exact. For that early bird price, each Bolt Drone supporter on Kickstarter will get a complete 5.8G FPV kit which will include the Bolt Drone, an FPV headset and a transmitter (remote control).

Based on official product images, the Bolt Drone looks like a solid package. It features a carbon fiber frame with built-in front and rear LED lights, 5.8G FPV camera and a fuselage cover that looks quite similar to Sky Hero’s Anakin FPV racer.

From the top, it appears to be using brushless motors but views from the bottom seem to show coreless motors with a pinion gear setup. This is something that we can only speculate for now as there isn’t much detail about the Bolt Drone at the moment.

With that said, the Bolt Drone is an offer any FPV enthusiast will find hard to refuse considering at that price point, you’ll only get a small BNF 130mm FPV racer such as the Tarot 130 at most online stores such as GearBest. And the Tarot 130 BNF kit does not even include a transmitter or FPV headset.

Taking part in the giveaway is pretty simple. You can:

  • Sign up for the Bolt Drones email newsletter (3 entry points)
  • Visit the Bolt Drones page on Facebook (1 point)
  • Visit @boltdrones on Instagram (1 point)
  • Follow @boltdrones on Twitter (1 point)
  • Refer Friends for extra entries (1 point)

For Facebook and Instagram, I believe the contest requires you to like or follow the Bolt Drones page or account instead of just visiting though I’m not too sure about this.
